UNESCO heritage city of Malacca

Ohh my, going to Malacca is like going back to my favorite place, Penang Island. As both city also an heritage city. Your lens feel so extremely enthusiastic once you enter the place. so do mine :-)))

Pictures tell the story...

Afamosa Malacca

Above shot was taken at Afamosa fortress. a panorama composition of 3 pics. I've make a lot of correction for the pic due to unwanted vignette and overexposed pic, customize tone mapping etc.

Lovely city :-). Photographers are everywhere. even the crowd feel unease. but who cares. Landscape photographer surely must visit here.

Though just a kit lens as wide as 18mm, without necessary filter I do managed to make a few decent shots. I want to be there again :D

masjid selat melaka

Above is an HDR image of Masjid Selat Melaka. 3 shot of different exposure was taken. Everything planned accordingly followed every step but I do never though to set more lower ISO speed (this is resulting annoying noise after fussion processing). I'm not satisfy with the result but this is all I can plus big mistakes during taking all 3 shots. great visit, next time gonna look for other view angle.

kincir air_hdr

I saw an amazing old water mill in flickr geotagged at melaka but wonder where izzit? the shot was amazing in daylight, I believe polarized filter was used while I dont have it. maybe after new ultra wide system 10mm joining the family I will consider the filter too :-). so this shot was taken near sungai melaka. the lighting ambient was astonishing. I took 3 pics for light tone mapping process. one of the pic is blurry caused the sharpness after editing affected. night shot is quite difficult :-(

sunset strait of malacca

This is a view of strait of malacca. silhouttes as shot just a little touch up and single pic only. It will be great if red filter applied :-)

kampung pantai klebang

another HDR photgraphy. In reality, nothing speciel about this village. this is pantai klebang (though few wonder why there is no beach?) this is opposite view lol. huhu. at a very slow shutter speed the image create an environment that looks like a nice place.

somewhere at Malacca River

A view from Cas Del Rio, near Jonker Walk. This is Sungai Melaka. The city authority, I respect them so much. unlike here :-|
Thanks for the nice reflection of light at the water surfaces, lovely. Low shutter speed at small aperture extracting the detail of the light.

tasik ayer keroh

Panoramic view of Tasek Ayer Keroh. If I have the ND filter, the pics will be better with the sky will appear darker in blue and less reflection on water. I planned to buy it soon.

great practice venue for landscape/architecture photography. nice city :-))
